David Brown
David Brown is a Principal of FirsTrust Mortgage and a Certified Mortgage Planner. He has 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently he was a Principal with United Home Loans and prior to that he worked as a Senior Vice President for Lockton Companies. His background includes helping individuals and companies find financial solutions that meet their personalized objectives.
David is also active in the community, serving as the President of Impact K.C. an organization that provides grants to multiple non-profit organizations. He has also served on other non-profit boards including CORO and the Johnson County Library Foundation. David also served as a Board Member for Weldon Equity and Income Mutual Fund. A graduate of Drake University (BS) and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (MBA), David is the Founder and President of the KC Alumni Chapter of the University of Chicago Business School.
Happily married for 11 years, David enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three daughters as well as golf and rooting for KU sports.
